Saint Paul’s, Closter to host indoor Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 13 at 6 PM

The members of the community are invited to join the members of St. Paul’s, Closter for an indoor Oktoberfest meal on Saturday, October 13 at 6 PM. The meal will be served by the members of St. Paul’s Ladies Aid in St. Paul’s Koepchen Fellowship Hall. The Ladies Aid will collect a free will offering at the Oktoberfest to support future mission endeavors.

“We’re looking forward to serving the people bratwurst,  knockwurst, hot dogs, German potato salad, and apple pie as we celebrate this traditional fall feast,” comments Rev. Robert Holsten, Pastor of St. Paul’s. “Apple cider will be provided,” Pastor continues. “Those desiring other traditional German beverages should bring them as well.”

St. Paul’s Ladies Aid has worked in service at St. Paul’s since the early 1930’s. “We enjoy each other’s company and serving others in Jesus’ name,”  shares Janice Pierro, St. Paul’s Ladies Aid President.” New women are invited to join us. We meet in St. Paul’s Koepchen Fellowship Hall on the second Thursday of each month at 1 PM.” For further information or directions, please contact St. Paul’s Church Office at 201 768-6310.
