St. Paul’s Celebrates Christmas with Santa Breakfast and Sunday School Program

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, located at 171 Closter Dock Road in Closter, New Jersey, begins its celebration of the Christmas season with two events. “We will host our traditional Pancake Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 15 from 9 AM to Noon in Koepchen Fellowship Hall,” comments Rev. Robert Holsten, pastor of St., Paul’s. “After our children have breakfast with Santa, they rehearse for the Sunday School Christmas Service, which takes place on Sunday, December 16 at 10 AM in the sanctuary. The children share the story of Jesus, God’s Son, born in a manger at this service. They portray the characters in the story, including Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, the wise men, and the donkey which carried Mary to Bethlehem.”

“Members of the community are invited to both events,” Pastor Holsten continues. “We will share a goody bag with each child as they have their picture taken with Santa.  We suggest a free will offering for the breakfast of $5 for children, and $7 for adults.”
